I forgot to mention in my last post that the issue only occurs when the printer is networked, not when it’s setup through a direct USB connection, or shared on the network via another computer. The way I’ve been getting around it is to do a screen shot, open in preview, then print. It is mainly relegated to Photoshop duties as I got tired of the lack of support and supply of programs at the time and some of the work I was doing needed Windows so I had to go back.

Why would I need another redundant way to print to a PDF? Many vendors of printers and scanners have adopted driverless technologies such as AirPrint, and they are no longer providing drivers for new devices.

This tool updates your Brother machine firmware via the internet, by sending the firmware to your machine from the Brother internet server. Well, Acrobat Pro has a print option that lets you “tile” a large document when you print so that you can assemble individual sheets into one large poster.
