In any case, the easiest way es just trying both biometric fingerprint projects available in Ubuntu’s repos. The fingerprint reader is connected and does respond, but the ControlPoint software throws an error if I try to enroll my fingerprint the error doesn’t show up if I don’t touch the sensor.
I was mistaken at first, but it doesnt even work in Vista which came preloaded. The latter is just a command line which will ask you to enrole your fingerprints.
