Wireless Adapter not found, yet its working properly in Device Manager I recently moved my computer away from my router to a different room. This thread is locked. I mainly started using Windows 7 to try out the included Windows Speech Recognition, but as I said, Windows 7 will not even accept audio input from my microphone. I changed the ringer on my phone and had the same problem. The microphone on my headset works perfectly, but if I select GN as the “speaker” the voice chat still routes through my PC speakers. Now I am using windows 7 and amongst the many other problems I have with it, I can’t play with speakers or headphone until I have gone through a silly lot of clicking to disable one or choose the other as default.

Not finding what you are looking for? Please assign your manual to a product: To fix it, I had to plug in the widows microphone that plugs into the handset lifter and place the mic over the ringer speaker. Windows is running as it should, few random issues.

My GN headset microphone has always worked and continues to work very well with XP but when I boot up in Windows 7 the device is identified in the device manager as “GN ” but the Properties of the device show “The device cannot start code 10 “.
