If you are not copying something that requires reading sub-channel, all the Plextors should work with CloneCD otherwise with the latest firmware. Thanks for the info.
This technology basically prevents the burner from 112x10x32 coasters by actually stopping the laser stopping recording whenever there is a “buffer underrun” this is when the computer can’t supply data fast enough for the burner to burn at 12x or 10x or whatever speed you’re recording at. Iomeag friend has the same problem. Forgot to mention that the Plextors will not test in CloneCD – I think you have to just go ahead and burn.
I have an Iomega 12x10x32 that has been flashed with un updated firmware from Plextor because they are the same drives.
